Attach Image Files to Fixed Asset Management Records

There is usually a lot of paperwork that goes into the acquisition and maintenance of fixed assets. An easy way to track this supporting information is to attach image files of all of the associated documents with the appropriate asset record. This makes for quick retrieval of the related paperwork to answer any inquiries.

For each acquisition there are any number of forms, documents and images involved in the purchase and on-going maintenance of a fixed asset. These can include but are not limited to:

  • Purchase Order
  • Invoice
  • Picture of the actual asset
  • Warranty Information
  • Service Log

Having all of this information readily available is critical to sound fixed asset management. Internal company or external audit questions can easily be answered and additional copies of the documents can be printed out if necessary.
